Ionworks Open Position#

Location: Remote (US- or UK-based)
Type: Full-time

Ionworks is always interested in connecting with talented individuals in the field of battery modeling and simulation. While we may not have specific positions open at the moment, we welcome expressions of interest from potential candidates who are passionate about advancing battery technology.

Areas of Interest:

  • Battery modeling and simulation
  • Software development for scientific applications

Ideal Background:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or higher) in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics)
  • Experience with battery modeling software, preferably including PyBaMM
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Support role positions in the PyBaMM team#

Location: Remote
Type: Part-time (volunteer position)

We are advertising three positions for support roles within the PyBaMM team: communications lead, community manager, and fundraising lead. These roles are fundamental for the growth of our project and community, and we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team. Note that these are volunteering (i.e. unpaid) positions. The positions are open to all members of the PyBaMM community (from users to maintainers), and we encourage applications from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. The deadline for applications is the 6th of September 2024 27th of September 2024 (Anywhere on Earth). Please see the advert for more details on each role and how to apply.
